Hello! My name is Joanne Bain. I have spent the last 5 years designing and running my little paper company Studio 73 all from my home studio on the Sunshine Coast in sunny Queensland, Australia. Studio 73 was my dream come true and it started with a new years resolution in 2020.

Before Studio 73 I was an avid paper scrapbooker for 19 years and spent the last 8 of those years being on the design teams of some of the worlds biggest scrapbooking companies, Graphic 45, Prima, Scrapboys & Dusty Attic to name a few. Previous to all of this I was a digital scrapbook designer and that is truly where my heart lied, I loved seeing my designs used by other crafters. Because I have a background in graphic design and photography to start Studio 73 I already had the knowledge of what was required to produce good quality archival safe scrapbook products. So with that in mind Studio 73 came to life and it made me so happy seeing my designs being used by crafters again.

As it turns out Studio 73 was just a step in my design journey, while Studio 73 will always be my baby I was offered a position to design for an amazing American scrapbook company by the name of 49 and Market. It was an amazing opportunity to good to refuse and now my designs will be available worldwide under the 49 and Market banner. I am over the moon to be joining the 49 and Market family, just when I thought I couldn't dream any bigger another part of my journey is about to begin.
